The Illawarra Flight Simulator Group welcomes Flight Simulator enthusiasts from the Illawarra area to our coffee meetings to share Flight Sim know-how and real world flying experiences.
We are not a Virtual Airline.
Flight Training
You can discuss your needs among the group to learn about various virtual flying techniques.
Group Flights
We have group flights on Sunday and Wednesday evenings from 0900z. You can join us online with JoinFS or Vatsim. It is a mixture of GA and airliners. We are currently travelling around Europe in airliners.
One group has started GA flights around the world on Friday afternoons from 0430z.
Meet the Crew
While our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds. The one thing we share is a keen interest in flight simulation. Whatever Simulator you are running FSX / X-Plane / Prepar3d - We are a mixed bunch and you will certainly find someone to help you.
About Illawarra Flight Simulator Group
We are lucky to have in our group a good mix of skills in hardware, software and real world flying experiences. This makes for an excellent knowledge sharing environment from which we can all learn something new.
Our flight simulator group has an expanding membership, and we can guarantee that if you have a genuine interest in flight simulation you will meet like-minded people that you will get on with. You might even get the answer to that one question that is bugging you!
You are most welcome to come and say hello and join in with our activities.
Our numbers are steadily growing. The age group is wide and varying, which makes for a good mix of rounded knowledge and experience.
